Nomad's Oasis

Wandering Aloud!

Take a peep into my Oasis of wonders - some will thrill others will bore. I am associated with a digital production agency so don't be suprised to find tumbls that feature some of the funky, and not so funky stuff that our clients are about.

Easy ways to save

Saving is an essential and must be done without impacting too much on your lifestyle. We show you how to do it with our best savings tips for your household.
Saving some cash here and some cash there can make the difference between comforts and ruin should a rainy day come. Regular saving always seems like a laborious chore, however there are a number of ways to cut expenditure and save a little more without feeling discomfort.

Meals
Ever had a bad meal out and feel disappointed, well when you consider the cost of going out to eat most meals should leave you disappointed. Most meals out cost up to £20 a head on average – a lot of money considering the amount of food for two people you can get for £10. Try to avoid eating out and save the money you manage to keep.

Entertainment
Like food entertainment is far from cheap. A trip to the cinema is easily £15 per person. If two people do this every week for a month it is more than £100 easily, which is £1200 a year on cinema trips – a lot of money. Cut down on these cinema trips and combine this idea with cutting down on cable.
Many of us don’t watch many movies, yet lots of us have the movie channels. Cut down on these and get a cheap subscription DVD service. These can cost as little as £7 a month – a huge saving on a £120 cinema ticket and £30 movie subscription every month. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/billshub/money-saving-ideas.html

Phones

Your phone can also be a needless drain on your finances. These two items can cost way more than you need them to. Examine your phone contract and see if you need all those minutes, texts and data allowances and then cut what you don’t need.
