Lewis Hamilton on the Abu Dhabi Yas Marina Circuit Built on the man made Yas Island, The Yas Marina Circuit is one of the newest additions to the Formula 1 calendar and features a street like circuit reminiscent of Monaco. The circuit winds it’s way through sandunes and built up grandstands and is a great circuit for spectators with five main grandstand areas, with one of the gravel traps even running underneath the West grandstand - imagine a Formula 1 car going right under you… Interestingly the pit lane exit runs under the actual track through a tunnel so you will even get the immense sound of an F1 car going through a tunnel also similar to Monaco. Yas Island itself is a massive tourist area with Ferrari World also nearby it is a petrolheads ideal holiday destination, Staying in Yas Island couldn’t be easier either with plenty of choice including the ideally located Park Inn Hotel in Yas Plaza.
